Hi Mark,
Long time no see. Hope all is well.
I don't know of a way to have two programs control the same rig as the rig only
has one port.
Unless you can configure the CI-V for one port and the serial for another?
My Work around is Start WSJT-X first, as that is sensitive and will complain as
I've used DX4WIN for many years. It controls my IC-7800 perfectly, as
expected.
Now I'd like to also be able to control my transceiver by WSJT-X, as well.
The problem is that they both fight for control of the rig. DX4WIN usually
wins and WSJT-X presents me with an error message.

The same difficulty occurs when using dx4win to check the lotw adif
confirmation file.
Looks like a good workaround is to add dx4win to the list of applications
allowed controlled folder access.

Turns out this is a problem with the fall update of windows 10, which by
default enforces “controlled folder access”. Switch this off (in windows
defender) and the update goes through seamlessly.
I see this with a number of other applications which are denied write access to
necessary folders….
I'm using version 9.04.1176 and want to log contacts made on 630m. I don't see
630m as a valid band? Is there a way to configure DX4WIN to identify contacts
made on this band?
