I have a similar problem with my Kenwood TS570S on 6m, it will scroll over
the band section shown on the band map but does not follow if I tune beyond
that. I does work properly on 10m as does my TS950SDX on 10m. It's not much
of a problem really just a bit strange.

I confirmed the same problem here today with an ICOM radio.  All bands
scroll the bandmap (if you tune past the edge) except 10m and 6m.
