Which window are you using the 'upper right X' in? You must use the 'DX4WIN 8.05 UrCallsign' window to close the entire program. If you are doing that and still having problems, the next thing I would do is shut down the computer completely. That is, do the regular shut down and then drop power

GM Mark: Make sure you are clicking on the “X” in the proper window - use the main window with File / Radio / and Help in the tool bar NOT the data / QSO entry window. I have Ver 8.05 installed on a Dell desktop and a Thinkpad both running Win10 and both close down properly and as expected.

On my Windows 10 computer, DX4WIN will not shut down except with the use of task manager. When I Close or use the upper right X, only the DX4WIN data entry window goes away. Task manager is required to kill everything else. Does anyone have any suggestions to help me to remove this annoyan
