Neil,
I've had the best luck with the Radio Amateur's Callbook ("Flying
Horse"). Buckmaster inserts odd characters, and doesn't adhere to the
address format most countries use.

For what it's worth, I've tried them all and found the QRZ CD to be the
cheapest and, more importantly, the most accurate--especially regarding DX
stations.

I have been using the "Flying Horse" for years and am happy with it. If I need
to, I can access QRZ or Buckmaster on-line.
You do not need to pay "retail", there are other places to get it. I know
GOLIST is one, another might be Bob Nadolny, WB2YQH.
