Delayed payments have been instituted in e-gold - The peasants rejoice. You create another acct to use for delayed payments, while still keeping the original account for instant/normal payments.
You feel and happy, safe & secure and drop your guard. Now some black-hat has your acct password(s). They take of the metal in the normal account and process 10 000 (no delimter, just a small space) microspend orders in the delayed account. Your email acct crashes, and you don't know the difference. When your ISP cleans up the mess - if they don't just drop your account, you realise that all of metal (including delayed) is gone. On top of that, Jay is scrambling to bring the server back online after it crashed, or became super-sluggish from having to fire off 10,000 emails. If you set a payment limit on delayed, or authorized, payments (i.e. restrict all payments > 10 AUG) then the crook will just make multiple spends to limbo under the line - since (s)he can just look at acct info. The only difference with above is that no systems are compromised by overload, but all of your metal is still irretrievably gone.
