I LOVE GoldMoney's new hand-shaking protocol. It is exactly what I have been suggesting to E-Gold for the past year. You can send a payment by generating a 'key'. For the payment to be complete, this key must be emailed to the receiver and then the receiver must 'redeem' the payment. This is great. GoldMoney Exchange Services need never worry about sending a payment to the wrong account! Without using this protocol, it is possible to accidentally send gold to an incorrect account. Now, since the receiver MUST redeem the payment with the randomly generated key, this worry is overcome. Moreover, the sender can revoke the 'key' if he made the payment in error, as long as he does it before the receiver redeems it.
