Gold Today Half Yearly Briefing.
Firstly I would like to thank all our valued clients who have honoured Gold Today with their continued loyalty and patronage and support. We are now in the New Tax Year (For overseas readers the Australian Tax Year starts on July the 1st) and we have some exciting plans for the coming year. Last year we formed a closer association with Gaithmans and Electrum to create the Gaithmans Group of Companies. This resulted in an improved service level and cost savings which were passed on to our clients in the form of reduced fees for service. The Gaithmans Inner Circle was also created with further reduced service fees for all members world wide. This has been a resounding success with more and more new members reaping the benefits of reduced fees. For more information go to http://www.gaithmans.com/goldclub.html. We also opened more accounts at different banks to increase the speed of service to our clients. In Australia you can do an online transaction from one branch to another branch of the same bank and the funds are transferred instantly. Between banks it is overnight generaly. Less waiting for the funds means less waiting for the gold. Most gold orders are now being funded within hours of the order placed and the funds transmitted. The Gold Today site was also upgraded with a new host more suited to our industry and who provides a high quality customer service 24 hours a day. Although there is no sensitive information such as credit card data on the site, a secure certificate has also been installed to further protect the privacy of our clients information. Gold Today have plans this year to accept credit cards for inexchanges. We are negotiating rates at the moment and, although this will be Australia only, will be substantially cheaper than currenct rates from existing exchange providers in the gold industry. There will be a minimum of $250AU and a Maximum of $5000AU on any one order but multiple orders will be accepted in an individual basis. Further details will be forth coming. Technocash has had two years of successful expansion in Australia and is now going ahead with expansion into the US and other offshore countries with New Zealand already operational. Gold today will be following their expansion and accepting Technocash World Wide in each country as it comes online. Special ordering pages will be set up for this as required. The big advantage with Technocash is that it is instant. The wait period for gold or digital account funding on a Technocash order is generally only minutes but at the most hours depending on gold supply. With Technocash you open a Billfold, fund the Billfold and can transfer within seconds any amount to an exchange providers Billfold account for instant funding. Also as Technocash is predominently a cash based system there is no or negligble incidence of fraud. For those interested further information on Technocash is obtainable at http://www.technocash.com Technocash are also selling IPO shares in the US Side of the business. Anyone interested in participating in this established and expanding business email me so I can put you in touch with the CEO. Our aim is always to provide as close to instantanious service as possible. All our efforts are geared in this direction. We have an exciting year ahead and you can expect more facilities and services being provided in an effort to achieve our aim. The 2002-2003 Tax Year is going to be a boomer!
