Sorry, I think it is dangerous for the buyers not for the seller.... > In the second place, are the individual members of the > public competent to decide for themselves whether or not > buying shares of The Gold Casino is dangerous? If not, > why aren't they able to choose for themselves in this matter? I do not doubt the ability of e-gold users. But a fair warning and explanation is useful. > > Do you think the government should intervene to prevent > people from buying dangerous shares of dangerous stocks? Certainly not.... I think TGC has the right to sell its shares. I think that as an investor there are several things I need to know. As I remember, Danny comments caused TGC to give more info on several issues. As I remember (I haven't invested much time in it, since I am not going to buy TGC shares...) (so, I hope I do remember..-:)) several issues where kept open: 1. Balance sheets - audited. 2. The number of issued shares and the number of non-issued shares. 3. The rights the shares give (issued/non_issued). 4. The raised funds - what will be done with those. 5. An explanation of the business - and forecast for the coming period. It is quite weird that a company that tries to keep its management privacy and that does not disclose any management names - goes to raise for public money. I believe that when you raise public money several rules of transparency should apply. Why have they sold shares? I would be very happy if E-Gold will start selling shares and become a public company.
