Dear Friends, On advice of counsel, I've waited a decent interval to see if Sidd would take rational action on his own to relinquish disputed property. I felt then that it was in vain to wait. Perhaps I was wrong.
It does not serve the digital gold economy to have all of us get lawyers and sue each other. It does not make the industry a better place. It cannot make us wealthier, and it will make us poorer. If we're going to have a world-changing industry that is respected by those outsiders who will look at how we act as well as what products and services we sell, then we need to find better ways to resolve conflicts than we have been using thus far. If Sidd gets his jollies by making fun of me, taking uninformed potshots at my courage, and still does the right thing, that is better than the alternatives. It is better for the industry. In the future, I think we can do better. I'm willing to do my part to resolve conflicts more amicably in future. And if insults have to be tolerated to get the job done, then let's get it done.
