It has eroded over 98% of the dollar's value since 1913, and about 90% of it since 1971. Those who work are able to adjust somewhat for the decline in its purchasing power by demanding higher wages. However, a great many are forced out of work by the government's evil wage controls. Also, the declining value of the dollar has its greatest impact on those who are on fixed incomes. But, you'll find a silver lining in every cloud, just like Polly Anna.
And, if the US is so bad, why do we have so many people trying to come here for work? And why so many illegals here working?
The evils that men do in the USA are not unique. They are worth opposing, if you have a conscience to regard them as wrong. The fact that others flee worse tyranny and worse oppression elsewhere does not mean that no one here feels the lash of the whip.

Truly, George, that is a bad idea. Have you heard of the fable of the Little Red Hen? She bakes a cake. None of her "friends" help out in the baking. But all want to share in the eating. Why should anyone let *you* know about a better country? Why would anyone want you there? it looks like the money held by e-gold was recovered by the victims of the Costa Gold operation. If true, that would be welcome news.
