Stock Debian 3.3.x kernel worked
Alpine Linux 3.3.8 kernel worked
Upgraded Vyatta from (3.0.23 kernel [stable]) to 3.3.8
[unstable/pacifica] and it works.
In the end it was a Vyatta/kernel bug.

Hi All,
Running into what seems to be a very strange bug, that's specific only
to the X520-T2 and not the X540-T2. Configuration is a xen host with a
X520-T2 setup with bonding + bridging. eth3/eth4 -> bond0 -> pvlan460 ->
bridged made as vlan460.
I've compiled with CFLAGS_EXTRA="-DIXGBE_NO_LR
Thanks Kirstian,
We'll take a look at this and try a repro here in our lab. In the mean time
can you please get us on EEPROM dump using ethtool for the device in question?
We'd like to see if it is programmed correctly.
Thanks.
Cheers,
John
