We have an own OS called DMX and it's totally different from Linux or FreeBSD.
There we have Intel 82599 drivers.
To write new driver in DMX OS is not small work. So we are thinking if it's
possible to make some modification based on 82599 VF driver to support XL710 VF.

From source forge you can pick up the latest i40e driver, release 1.3.47.

Then you can update your FW using the Intel NVM Update utility available here:
