Hi Folks,
I'm glad to see so many committers are stepping in the project.
My work focus has in the past several months shifted away from
RCP/Eclipse. I would like to retire from the project, as I do not plan
to contribute in the foreseeable future.

I think the folks at SAP do changes in Search, so I wouldn't say it's dead.
Dani, probably you guys would want to look into this.

Hi,
I'd like to do some more work on Search but I'm changing my employer in the
forthcoming weeks. If possible, I would like to retain my committer rights
in e4. Is anybody familiar what is done in this case? I couldn't find
anything on the wikis and forums, at first glance.

Hi Folks,
The last three integration builds (25,26,27 dec) lead to a 404 when
clicking on the http/p2 repo, even though the build logs show success.
Is this a known problem?

Hi,
First all I want to thank Paul, Lars, Igor and everybody for the work on

For my demo app I want clicking a button on part 'a' to set part 'b' to

My part b relies on a domain object com.acme.SalesOrder so i have

Hi Folks,
I'm playing around with Eclipse 4 Application Platform to build a RCP app.
I started off with a PartSashContainer with two stacks with one part each,
and everything works.
I then tried modeling some stuff which is allowed in the XMI graphical
editor, but does not work at runtime. For
Hi Folks,
I just downloaded Juno M5 and installed E4 M5 on top of it in order to
build a RCP / Eclipse 4 app.
After playing around with the modeled workbench / application model, I
decided to give XWT a try.

Hi,
Although the old script required more parameters as well as manual tagging,
they worked on Windows using the Msysgit console.
Now I cannot get the script to run, even though I've struggled for 2 hours.

Hi,
On 4.2M1 SDK the icon associated with the search console view and search
favourites view is not resolved, even though it works on 3.7.
Is this a known issue, or should I open a bug? If the latter, also I'm
having a tough time determining what the correct component would be...
Regards,
Oddly enough, after restarting the ide, the very icon in the search console
view resolves, but in the search favourites view it still does not resolve.
And in window-show view dialog, both are not resolved (red squares). (both
views refer to the same icon)

Hi All,
Will a IBuild be scheduled soon for the stream? There is a change
https://git.eclipse.org/c/e4/org.eclipse.e4.search.git/tag/?id=v20110622-0630which
we really want to include in the updatesite.
P.S. On a similar note, where can I read info on executing the I-Build

Hi all,
If i understand Tom's proposal correctly, to me it certainly seems
reasonable to have a feature, which once downloaded, enables e4 apps to run
on 3.x. Paul's proposal also makes sense, but i think dealing with separate

I just had a glimpse at the last e4 status meeting MM. (Perhaps Martina,
Danail or myself should try and join next time)
The last point was Need to figure out how to get the e4 search contribution

Thanks!
