IntelliJ is a great development environment which already has many non-editor features (e.g. Structure View, Hierarchy Browser, CVS Integration, Ant Integration, JUnit Integration, Integrated Debugger, Integrated ToDo List, etc). Any additional features (such as a UML view of existing code) which

I definitely think that a graphical (UML) class representation would have been a hundred times more useful than code-folding and split editor screen (the latter restricted to one file). Not to mention the marketing effects. Make it (de-)installable, charge extra for it, and everybody will be happy

The last thing we need is another product trying to do more than it should. IntelliJ is a great Java Editor. Adding non-editor features simply slows down the app, and takes more time away from developing the editor features we all desire. John D wrote: > Are there any plans to integrate UML

I would certainly like to see some UML support integrated into IntelliJ. Bare minimum would be to present a read-only class diagram based on existing project code and allow user to print the diagram. Ted Hill "John D" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote in message afc99f$em5$[EMAIL PROTECTED]">news:afc99

Hello John, don't know, what you want to do with UML, but I do not need to paint them myself. I need a tool, that shows some dependencies in a UML-like manner (I had seen a JBuilder screenshot with such a view and I liked it). Tom On Wed, 26 Jun 2002 07:41:31 -0400, "John D" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]
