Hello guys, I have figured out how to build the 414 packages for R-3.3.1 from the eb file (https://github.com/hpcugent/easybuild-easyconfigs/blob/master/easybuild/easyconfigs/r/R/R-3.3.1-intel-2016b.eb) There was an issue building rgdal, nloptr, and cairo.
Rgdal was resolved by building with PROJ 4.9.3. Nloptr required NLopt which was not present, now there is a eb file see: https://github.com/hpcugent/easybuild-easyconfigs/pull/1750 Cairo didn't work for me since I didn't have the devel system package, I built this with cairo to resolve this issue. Next step is to get this approved.
