Job Description for Latin American Feminist Theory
The University of Florida Center for Women's Studies and Gender 
Research invites applications for a joint tenured position at the 
associate or full professor level in Latin American feminist theory. 
The position will be a joint appointment with an appropriate 
department depending on the appointee's credentials, but 
preference will be given to someone with a multi-disciplinary 
background, and a strong record of publishing and teaching in a 
Humanities discipline. The successful candidate must have an
excellent program of research and publishing in women's studies 
/gender, strong interdisciplinary skills that will complement both 
programs, demonstrated commitment to feminist methodologies 
and pedagogies as well as mentoring students at all levels. This 
position involves teaching undergraduate and graduate core 
courses in women's studies/gender as well as appropriate courses 
in the joined department. The committee encourages persons from 
groups underrepresented in the academy, including women, 
persons of color, and persons with disabilities, to apply. Send a
