On behalf of my colleague Heather Douglas, I would like to post an
announcement for the conference of the International Society for the History,
Philosophy, and Social Study of Biology in Vienna, July 2003.

She is organizing sessions on the following topics:


Objectivities in Biology,

Environmental Values/Bio,

Biology in Policy-making

Social Values in Biology


I'm sure that any good work on the history of biology would find a place on
