Dear fellow Ecolog-L subscribers:
Based on 37 unambiguous responses, I can conclude that most people who
continue in a biology-related field find a freshman biology textbook a
useful reference, even if the textbook was not one they used in their
freshman biology class: Arithmetic mean was 3.22

Hi, Mark:
I highly recommend Sokal and Rohlf's _Biometry_ as a supplement to the Krebs
textbook. I used both books as a grad. student, but referred more often to
Sokal and Rohlf (1981) for clarifying my own issues about experimental design.
