I am a graduate student studying New York box turtle diets via fecal samples. I am finding lots more seeds, and a much bigger diversity of seeds, than I expected. I am having a lot of trouble identifying the seeds I’m seeing. I have used the standard seed I.D. guides but the sheer diversity is overwhelming.
