The Smithsonian Conservation
Biology Institute (SCBI) has an immediate opportunity for an intern to gain
experience
in a variety of projects with the Field Ecology unit. Activities may include
participating in the
monitoring of a long-term temperate forest dynamics plot as part of the
Smithsonia
Position available to assist botanist in resurvey of herbaceous and woody
plants within multiple plots that differ in their abundance of invasive
species and deer herbivory. Work is part of a multi-year National Park
