The 2014-2015 Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program core competition is now open.

The Fulbright Scholar Program offers teaching, research or combination teaching/research awards in over 125 countries for the 2014-2015 academic year. Opportunities are available for college and university faculty and administrators as well as for professionals, artists, journalists, scientists, lawyers, independent scholars and many others.

This year, there are nearly 100 awards available in Science and Technology fields. Moreover, All Discipline awards offered in all regions of the world welcome teaching and/or research proposals in any area of study, including interdisciplinary projects. Brazil offers a <http://catalog.cies.org/viewAward.aspx?n=4458&dc=BR>Distinguished Chair award for scholars with extensive experience. Russia offers grants related to <http://catalog.cies.org/viewAward.aspx?n=4314&dc=RS>Science and Innovation, as well as <http://catalog.cies.org/viewAward.aspx?n=4313&dc=RS>Agricultural Technology. Science and Technology awards are available in established technology producers like Finland (which offers a <http://catalog.cies.org/viewAward.aspx?n=4199&dc=FI>Distinguished Chair in Information and Communications Technologies) and Sweden (<http://catalog.cies.org/viewAward.aspx?n=4330&dc=SW>Fulbright Distinguished Chair in Alternative Energy Technology) as well as countries like <http://catalog.cies.org/viewAward.aspx?n=4337&dc=TU>Turkey, <file:///C:/Users/DAVIDI~1/AppData/Local/Temp/Multiple%20Disciplines%20-%20Caledonian%20College%20of%20Engineering>Oman and <http://catalog.cies.org/viewAward.aspx?n=4052&dc=RW>Rwanda.
