The Center for Limnology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison is recruiting for a postdoc:
A two-year postdoctoral position is available to assess changes in walleye fisheries in lakes of northern Wisconsin. The postdoc will develop simulation models for understanding how walleye populations are affected by changes in fish management, harvest, climate, habitat, and interactions with other key species. The position is based at the Center for Limnology, University of Wisconsin-Madison. The project involves collaborators from U.W.-Madison, U.W. Stevens Point, and the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. A Ph.D. in aquatic ecology or a related field is required. Experience with aquatic ecosystem models or a similar ecological simulation model is expected. The position is open immediately. Applications will be reviewed starting 16 August 2013.
