Description: The Coastal and Marine Sciences Institute is a new inter-collegiate institute that will develop, implement, support and coordinate the activities of a diverse group of marine science and policy researchers and students located on the main UCD campus and at the Bodega Marine Laboratory. By partnering with other local, region, national, and international coastal and marine science ventures - public, academic and private, the institute will foster the development of innovative planning for a sustainable coastal environment in northern California, and beyond. Job Summary: Reporting to the Director of the Coastal and Marine Sciences Institute (CMSI), co-lead the design, implementation and oversight of diverse activities of the marine science and policy community at UCD, on campus and at the Bodega Marine Laboratory (BML). Responsible for strategic planning and management; income generation and development; strong and effective communication, outreach and marketing; research and academic program development for students and the public.
