Entitled "global modelling of health risks associated with conventional and unconventional river pollution" the project will develop and apply a first version of a global model that estimates the number of people exposed to different types of health risks from river pollution. This new exposure model will become part of an existing continental-scale model of river pollution, "WorldQUAL". The new exposure model will be used to estimate the public health risks of river pollution at different locations in a worldwide river network, with an accent on developing countries. http://www.sussex.ac.uk/about/jobs/research-fellow-geography-2049 Informal enquiries may be made to Professor Alcamo (joseph.alc...@sussex.ac.uk<mailto:joseph.alc...@sussex.ac.uk>).
