I've just downloaded a video from MSN of a man in Thailand catching a fully
grown Arapaima, along with clips of alligator gar and South African catfish and
other non-native giants that were caught at a resort reservoir there.

Transporting exotic fish for recreational fisheries is nothing new, but I've
never seen anything on this scale. Other web sites I've seen supporting these
resorts seem to have no understanding at all of the risks of exotics and were
ridiculing the US effort to limit the spread of snakeheads here.

The most surprising thing on the clip was the National Geographic copyright and
logo in the corner.

Am I missing something here?
