Dear ECOLOG-L Members,

 

Northwest Scientific Association will convene its 81st Annual Meeting in
Seattle, on the campus of University of Washington, March 25-28, 2009.
Please join scientists from the Northwest to share research findings in
botany, fire ecology, forestry, geology, plant ecology, and restoration
ecology.  The meeting will focus on climate change in the Pacific Northwest
with plenary keynote speaker Brian Fagan, Professor Emeritus, University of
California, Santa Barbara.  Cliff Mass, Professor, Atmospheric Sciences,
University of Washington will address an evening banquet hosted by Burke
Museum.  The meeting will feature symposia sponsored by University of
Washington College of Forest Resources and Earth and Space Sciences
Department and the Elwha Research Consortium.  Join your colleagues from
around the Northwest - please consider attending the meeting.
