Assistant Professor:  Plant Evolution, Ecology, or Biogeography/Herbarium 
Director
The Department of Botany at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater 
(http://botany.okstate.edu) seeks to hire a tenure-track Assistant Professor to 
start August 2009. Duties include developing a rigorous externally-funded 
research program in plant evolution, ecology, and/or biogeography; teaching 
undergraduate and graduate courses and mentoring students; and serving as 
Herbarium Director. Preference will be given to applicants who pursue research 
that includes field and collections-based studies that support the Herbarium (a 
collection of 140,000 specimens largely representing the Great Plains flora).  
Ph.D. and postdoctoral experience are required.  Submit an application as one
