I've just received this from the University of Maryland IT office.
ECOLOG-L is hosted there, so this will probably be an issue for some
subscribers.
David Inouye, list owner and moderator
If you have mailing list members who use Microsoft email addresses
(outlook.com, hotmail.com, live.com, and msn.com), it is likely that
they will not receive any emails sent from UMD email reflectors and
Listserv lists. This is due to a temporary block put in place by
Microsoft, and there is no current known resolution or timeframe to
resolve to this issue.
The Listserv system edits list membership based on delivery status, so
several of your list subscribers will most likely be automatically
removed after messages sent to the list are rejected by the Microsoft
domains.
There are two ways you can address this issue at this time
<http://umd.service-now.com/itsc?id=kb_article&article=KB0013363>:
1. Check your reflector and Listserv list membership lists and remove
any addresses with the affected email domains. If possible, get
alternate email addresses for those subscribers and add the new
addresses to your list.
2. Switch your mailing list to a Google Group
<https://umd.service-now.com/itsc?id=service&service=fd7603b637911e406574c97a43990ebb>
instead. This is a more complicated process, but is likely the
better long-term solution.
More information about the delivery issue and about the recommended
workarounds

available in the IT Library.
We regret any inconvenience this issue may cause. If you have any
