Hello and sorry for cross posting! I'm working on a manual for on-farm demonstration research. It is designed to promote farmer directed research. One thing we are considering is putting together 'research kits' that the farmers can sign out.
I'd like to have a little binder with a bunch of handy quick and dirty tests (similar to soil texturing by feel) that farmers can conduct with little/no equipment or expense. Maybe for mineral deficiencies, toxicity, pH, compaction..... ?? If you have any gems up your sleeve could you forward them to me?
