Hi,

I'm developing an Ecological Biochemistry (undergraduate) course to be taught
next semester - searching for a textbook that provides the following topics,
which will provide background to support in depth primary literature
discussions and lab experiments in these research areas.

1. Plant defense against herbivores and microbial pathogens

2. Symbioses between plants and fungi, bacteria

3. Tri-trophic interactions

4. Carbon metabolism pathways in detail (photosynthesis, respiration)

5. Animal physiological adaptations to plant toxins (defense responses)

I'm looking for a textbook that would have not only details of the "ecological
interactions" and chemicals mediating these interactions, but also includes
detailed physiological pathways producing the chemicals.

Thanks,

Anne
