The University of Hohenheim in Stuttgart/Germany invites applications for a Tenure Track Professorship in Plant Ecology at the Institute of Landscape and Plant Ecology.
The successful candidate is expected to establish a competitive research program in plant ecology. He/she will study interactions of plants with their biotic and abiotic environment. Ecologically relevant mechanisms shall be investigated at the organismic level. The successful candidate will initially be appointed as a Junior Professor (temporary civil service position, payscale W1). He/she may subsequently be appointed to a Full Professorship (W3) through a simplified process. This is thus an excellent job opportunity for outstanding junior researchers in plant ecology.
