Visiting Assistant Professor, Environmental Science (Forest/Field Ecology) The Center for Earth and Environmental Science at the State University of New York, College at Plattsburgh seeks to fill a position for a one year visiting assistant professor in environmental science and ecology, effective August 2012.
Responsibilities include: The successful candidate will teach 12 contact hours per semester including: Forest Ecology and Management, Field Ecology, Plant Ecology and an advanced writing seminar. Required Qualifications: A Ph.D. in a related field is required at time of appointment. Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with a Ph.D. in an ecological science or a related field with expertise in forest ecology and management are preferred.
