Dear ecologgers,

I am writing a review of techniques and/or software used to map the
locations (x-y coordinates) of individuals in photographic/digital images,
and associated traits such as size, shape, number of leaves (ie. the use of
'photo-quadrats' in ecology). The images can be of any scale (small plots,
aerial photos, or satellite images), the main objective being to locate, map
and record the locations of individuals as a marked spatial point pattern.

If anyone has any experience doing this, or uses some amazing software to do
so, please let me know!

Thanks, Simon
