For an undergraduate ecology lab, I want to compare leaf litter decomposition in mesh bags in a PNW conifer forest and in a creek, using broadleaf and needle-leaf species. Does anyone have advice on a mesh size that would work in both habitats, or do I need to use 2 different mesh sizes? Thanks
