I am a social scientist with aspirations to evaluate the Dear Ecolog, I am a social scientist with aspirations to evaluate the diversity of flowering plants, pollinators, and trees on a plot of land. I am competent enough in botany/dendrology to do some basic counts, but it would be wonderful to follow an accepted protocol. Does anyone have any advice? Web sites they know of with a simple worksheet on conducting a transect? I've only done the basics in an ecology class.
