that will be held before and after the 2015 annual meeting held in

I highly recommend Sokal and Rohlf's _Biometry_ as a supplement to the Krebs
textbook. I used both books as a grad. student, but referred more often to
Sokal and Rohlf (1981) for clarifying my own issues about experimental design.

A colleague of mine teaches an upper division course to biology
undergraduates titled Quantitative Methods in Ecology. For a text, he
currently uses Ecological Methodology by Charles Krebs, but wonders if
anyone has an alternative to recommend. Thanks in advance for your
