The Oregon Chapter of The Wildlife Society is sponsoring a workshop
"Enumerating Wildlife Populations" on February 14-15 at Agate Beach Hotel in
Newport, Oregon.  The primary goal of the workshop is to provide wildlife
managers and biologists with an understanding of how to effectively sample
wildlife populations.

Topics include:
Data and Sampling
Benefits and Limitations of Sampling, Inference and Data Comparability
Putting it All Together in a Sampling Strategy
Examples for Data Rich Species (waterfowl, ungulates)
Examples for Data Poor Species (herps, small carnivores, forest birds)
