I noticed that VS2010 was added as a toolchain. So, on a Win7 64-bit
system with VS2010 installed, I checked out rev 13700, ran
edksetup.bat, then set my toolchain to VS2010x86. When I tried to
build the x64 version of MdeModulePkg, I got an error that initially
had me wondering. My console showed:
Section 28.3.8.3.12 (EFI_IFR_DEFAULT) describes a structure: EFI_IFR_DEFAULT_2.
But this structure is missing from
MdePkg\Include\Uefi\UefiInternalFormRepresentation.h
The correct structure is simply missing the final field (Value). It is used
when Type == EFI_IFR_TYPE_OTHER.
