Have any of you ever actually heard Dr. Kolmogorov or his parents pronounce
his name?  If not, then you cannot really be sure of the proper way to
pronounce it.  My name is fairly simple, yet I have heard at least 13
variations on its pronunciation.  Only one of them is correct.  It is the
way MY PARENTS and I pronounce it!
