However, I thought you might be interested in this link which offers a short course (and certificate for completion!) in the protection of human subjects. http://cme.nci.nih.gov/intro.htm All of the incoming Nut209a students will be required to turn in a certificate before the start of the reading period under the penalty of a hit on their letter grades (an A would become an A-, an A- would become a B+, and so on). However, it's painless, interesting, and took me only 90 minutes to complete with a lot of browsing of suggested links.
