Ok, I found the bug in imagemagick.
imagemagick isuseing /usr/bin/rsvg which no longer is in the
librsvg2-bin package:

I believe this is a transient FTBFS. Version 1.0.0 didn't fail to build
originally:

It seems like it's actually a bug in either imagemagick or in librsvg-bin

It is very annoying.
Using Ubuntu 11.10 (64bit), gimp crashes on almost every save or save as (no
matter what size of photo, no matter what format - jpg, png, gif

The problem is in icedtea-6-plugin and icedtea-7-plugin packages, both
have:
Conflicts: icedtea-plugin (<< 1.2~pre1-1~) ...
So, icedtea-plugin (version 1.2~pre1-0ubuntu1) depends on
icedtea-6-plugin (same version), but that conflicts with the former!.
