Very interesting, how would I go about doing that?
I am looking in proxy/http/access policy, but am not sure how I would
disable the facebook app from using http port 80 or https port 443 for a
particular mac address.

Does anyone know which port I would need to disable to shut of my daughters
iphone facebook app? I have spent some time searching, but can't seem to
find it. Is there a way to watch the logs and determine this?

I am running version 2.5 of EFW with a transparent proxy. I am unable to
get my apple devices to stream youtube or update any of the apps. The only
workaround I have found is adding the devices to the bypass proxy list,
which is defeating the purpose of a firewall.
I have tried both suggestions

I have setup up a EFW (version 2.5) in my home, but am unable to get my
"main uplink" to connect. Every time I click on System -> Dashboard and
look at the Uplinks section, the status sits at connecting, then changes to
failed. I am using comcast as an ISP here is my hardware set
