You can do it that way, sure. But you will have to change
the ip address range on either the router’s lan, or the
inside lan (all your computers). They cant be the same
range. 
Prolly be easier to change the router...

I would like to know if I can place the EFW box in-between
my router/gateway 10.72.1.1 and my 10.72.x.x (subnet mast
255.255.0.0) inside lan. I want to force all users to go
through the box for filtering and proxy.  I really do not
need the firewall as my router is one.  I have tried to give
the red nic an address of 10.72.1.2 but the web interface
will not allow me to do this (same subnet). I want all users
to have to go through this box with out setting up the proxy
numbers on each machine.  Thanks for any help...
