I was wondering if anyone else is running into the same issue as me and if there
is a known/suggested workaround. With the introduction of directshow support
in the Ekiga2 stream, my webcam works rather well there whereas I get a blank
screen with no video when I try to compile and run
Below is a crash dump that I obtained in OPAL when trying to register with an
unresolvable domain name(failed register attempt) segvs during
cleanup(destructor). This crash does not happen in Ekiga2 but does with the
trunk version of Ekiga/OPAL (compiled on July 2, 2007)

Scenario:
Tried to make a call to Ekiga from another SIP phone using the asterisk PBX.
Incoming ekiga call crashes but outbound ekiga call works ok. This was on
a win32 build dated July 6, 2007

I am no longer successfully able to cross-compile Ekiga for win32.
I used to be able to compile in the 2nd week of July but lately, some
makefiledependencies have changed and in pwlib I get the error

In the Ekiga 3.0 roadmap wiki, there is a line-item that states
- Support for plugins for audio and video codecs (Craig, sponsored by Intel)
I assume this is support for the Intel IPP(Integrtated Performance Primitive)

The voxgratia cvs snapshot does not look as current as the buildserver.net
cvs snapshot. Any reason why they are not mirroring each other?
