Hi all,
there are new windows binaries available (7300) at the usual location.
I have fixed many bugs since the last release, most notably the following
windows specific issues:
- Crash with enabled echo cancellation
- Crash when using the Default device
- Exception when clicking the status bar
Michael:
it is not usefult to report errors without specifying version informations (or
in the windows case the revision in the installer filename)
Especially since I released a new binary 7300 yesterday which fixes (among many
other things) a crash in the echo cancellation.

I'm using Ekiga 3 on a Sony Vaio with r5u870 driver. It works great with
mplayer if the resolution is set to 768x576. Other resolutions give a
green screen with corrupted picture. It is what I have in Ekiga.
How can I change the resolution of the video in Ekiga ? Haven't found
this option

I have successfully compiled ekiga 3.0.1 with opal 3.4.2 and ptlib 2.4.2.
I used ffmpeg from svn to get H264 support in opal. But although ekiga
works great if I have compiled opal without H264 support, it gives me a
segfault (not starting at all) if I have enabled it.

Of course it was the Win32 version 3.0.0 - downloaded as of a coulpe of days
ago.
I've been monitoring this list and don't recall seeing any announcement of a
new Win32 release. I'll try it.

I was referring to the Help/About version. Apparently this isn't being
updated. When I look at my download history,
it's 3.0.1.7205 beta.

Yes, it was released very recently. Like I said it should fix your problem. And
concerning the about box: it is a beta snapshot version, not a released
version. So the information will not be updated.
