Just for your info, I have been using ekiga 3.0.2 on Ubuntu hardy and I can
connect using - sip:a...@w.x.y.z. I hear busy tone,connecting tone & ringing
tone.

Same problem here using Ubuntu Hardy and Wednesday's trunk on three separate
computers. Incoming calls segfault every time on each 3.1.1 build. Outgoing
calls are ok. 5...@ekiga.net echo test works but all incoming calls segfault.

About the sound_alsa::write: As of today, both PsoundChannel abstract
definition and the method comment in psound_alsa mentions a
writeTimeout, with the obvious functionality. However, this is not
implemented by the actual code. So: something is wrong, but what? Code?

It is not a gdb backtrace it the debug output from ekiga in linux ( ekiga -d 4).
Anyway, I have cut out the stuff that was repeated a lot and got it down to
below 40 kB. File is enclosed.

Actually there are some Tandberg endpoints in my LAN.
Tandberg MXP 1700 - H323 and IP supported
Tandberg E20 - SIP only
In my network there is no NAT, actually some equipments are in the
same subnet, i.e. no routing involved.
With Ekiga 2.x, SIP connection with both Tandberg endpoints a
32 matches
