Hello,
I'm using ekiga 3.2.0
On my Address Book I have configured my LDAP and I can search and find
people.
My problem is that what LDAP returns as telephoneNumber is different from
what I need to use as the sip uri.
To make it more clear, my LDAP search returns:
telephoneNumber: +111 22 33

Hi,
I just installed the latest Ekiga on Windows XP. When installing, it
said that it was unable to automatically configure my network, and
directed me to the page instructing me to set up port forwarding. This
would be fine, except my Linksys WRT54G2 seems to be having some

I tried to file bug report in Debian for this problem, but noticed that
somebody already has filed it regarding Sid (Debian Unstable) a few
weeks ago. I chimed in too and have added that the problem is in Testing

Hi Guys,
I tried to plug today a logitech spher AF into ekiga window 3.0.3
Actually, I did two things. Just plugged cam and launch ekiga. It worked

Then I installed the Sw from logitech (and I guess the driver), then
launched ekiga. Now it just crash the computer.

Hi,
I've just registered for a new account at ekiga.net, and got a new username and password. But when I use these in the account druid in Ekiga, I just get the message "Registration failed: Registration failed" in the status bar, and "Registered accounts: 0" in the dialog.
Hi all,
I can't seem to get the Windows build of Ekiga to produce console
debugging output, but it now suddenly seems to be possible to make and
receive calls to/from other SIP clients! Hopefully it will continue to
work, and I won't need figure out how to debug it. Messaging, webcam

Hi all,
I'm currently examining the feasibility of switching my grandparents
from Skype to Ekiga. I think that learning a brand-new interface is
going to be too hard for them, and so I'd like to make things very
simple by just giving them a desktop icon that they can double-click
in order to call
Hi Eugen,
Yes for sure, it comes from the webcam driver. I was wondering if
someone experiencing the same issue would have found a workaround.
Anyway, there is something wrong in the driver, I think PTLIB does
something none of the others apps I found does. Eventually, I would like
to investigate

Thanks, that explains that issue.
I'm on Ubuntu 8.04 right now, and I'm keen to hold off from upgrading
for a while yet, as everything is currently working extremely well. It
may be worthwhile to spawn this question into a separate thread, but,
has anyone had any success backporting Ekiga 3.2 to U
