Skype tries to use ports commonly open on firewalls like TCP443 if it
sees the other ports blocked. SIP doesn't have this option so you
will need to tunnel it using something else.

cordless phone. The front bezel is marked "SIP PHONE"
but there is no mention of sip in the instruction booklet.
How can the sip capability be exploited?
Is Ekiga involved?

I've noticed many places firewall all kinds of ports.
I know Skype has been designed to bypass a lot of these blockers but I'd rather
use Ekiga if it has its own means of bypassing blocked ports.

My problem is probably very simple but I don't find the solution.
Since I installed my firewall (Iptables) I don't have sound with ekiga,
even with all ekiga ports open. Note that It was also unsuccessful to
work with STUNserver.
