A friend of mine and I are trying to use Ekiga but are having a horrible
time of it. When I IM him, he gets the message but can't reply as it fails.
When he tries to call me the call fails but I can call him. I can call
other SIP addresses as can he.
The required ports are open on both our sides.

Also, for some reason, IM messages routinely fail to go through even if

Can anyone help?
Thanks!

Hi Everyone,
I'm hoping someone can help me because I'm experiencing a super
frustrating problem that I need to solve involving a SIPGate DID and
Ekiga.
For some reason, even though Ekiga is showing that SIPGate is
registered, SIPGate itself (in the control panel) constantly goes on

the 'name' field, he put 'Anthony' and in the SIP field he put my full
SIP address (cajuntec...@ekiga.net). It added me to his contact list.
Next, he tried to send me a text mes
Hello Everyone,
A friend of mine and I noticed this problem tonight and it's quite
bothersome. He had been logged into Ekiga for about an hour when I
logged in. He didn't immediately show up as online in my contact list
and didn't actually show up for about 5-7 minutes. Then, I logged out
and logg

I know this isn't specifically an Ekiga related question but I'm
wondering if anyone knows of a good (cheap or free) SIP phone for
Blackberry? I've been looking and can't seem to find hardly any.
Thanks,
Anthony

Is this a configuration error on my end? A problem with Pidgin? What
can I do to fix this?
Thanks!
