I haven't heard from Vinicius - are you there Vinicius?
The situation is even more critical now as I can see that the Empathy
IM 'connected' status icon is almost identical to Ekiga's. Just a
larger green circle. Screen shot attached

Once I've started Ekiga (3.0.1 on Ubuntu 9.04) I can call the first
number without trouble. After that whatever contact I click on I end
up calling the first dialled number again and again. I have to restart
Ekiga to fix this.
Anyone else seeing this problem? Should I file this as a bug?

It looks like it would be relevant for me to mention that Ubuntu 9.04
is also moving to pulse audio. And I can't get Ekiga running at all,
bug reported in Launchpad and Bugzilla.

I'm trying to get into the ekiga irc channel but it's now working for

Hi all. Isn't 3.x great?! The contacts handling is much improved, but
there's this odd thing...
When I am in the 'Contacts' tab I can add a contact to 'ekiga's
internal roster'. I have English as my first language and can't make
sense of what a roster is in that context.
Here are the first four

FWIW, we use the term roster in XMPP to refer to a contact list.
That's for that very reason it's named like that in ekiga ;-)

I've got Ubuntu 9.04 (Jaunty something...) running and love some of the

So where do I start? Please point me to whatever roadmaps and

You'll see that I've found some of them which I will look over soon.
